Brewpots, Etc.

20 Qt. Stainless Brewpot: Without a doubt the best value in a stainless brewpot. 20 qt (5 gal) capacity with 10 and 15 qt markings. Made of high quality stainless steel and includes a well fitting lid. Note this is a new style pot which looks slightly different than the picture.  It has a domed lid and a relief overflow.  SSPOT20 $39.95

30 Qt. Stainless Brewpot: A larger version of our 20 qt pot, from the same company. Made of 18-8 stainless and holds 30 qts (7.5 gallons). Perfect for full boils of extract batches and almost big enough for 5 gallon all grain batches (use a few pounds more of malt to collect a higher gravity run-off at less volume and you'll need to add a bit of water at then end to account for boil losses). Includes a well fitting lid. SSPOT30 $79.95

Italian Brewpots: These are affordable large brewpots made in Italy of 304 stainless steel and include a spigot and a lid. The pots include a 1/2" female coupling welded into the bottom where a spigot screws in. The included spigot is also made of stainless and seals up tight with the included o-ring.   These are constructed very differently from your typical pot. These are made from a sheet of stainless formed into a tube with a circle of stainless welded onto it to form the bottom. There are no handles (actually a safety feature). We recommend our Camp Chef burner for either pot. We have two sizes available: A 50 litre size (13.2 gallons) and a 100 liter size (26.4 gallons!).  Pot dimensions:  50 liter: H 18" D 16"  100 liter: H 24.5"  D 21.5"
50 Liter: SSPOT50 $159.95
100 Liter: SSPOT100 $219.95

Wort Chiller (Immersion): Sooner or later you'll want a wort chiller. Cools 5 gallons of boiling wort down to 70-80 degrees F in 15-20 minutes (depending on your tap water temperature). Immerse in the boiling wort to sterilize and then start the water flow. Our wort chiller is made of 25' of 3/8" copper tubing with brass hose fittings on both ends for easy connection to a water source and drain.  We can also make a double-length (50') wort chiller sized for either the 50 litre or 100 litre pots.
Standard Wort Chiller WORTCH $42.50 (F)
Double-Length for 50 litre WORTCH2 $80.00
Double-Length for 100 litre WORTCH2 $80.00

PhilChill Phittings: Some brewers prefer the "counterflow" style of wort chiller to the immersion style listed above, but making the fittings is the hard part. Now Listermann Mfg. is supplying the "phittings" to make it easy to make your own counterflow chiller. You'll need to add 25 feet (minimum) of 3/8" OD soft copper tubing and a matching amount of 5/8" ID reinforced garden hose (and some labor). Everything else is included. PHILCHL $14.95 (G)

Hop Strainer: This 8 1/2 " diameter strainer is made from high temperature plastic with a stainless steel screen. Hooks over the mouth of most kettles and our plastic fermenters. Perfect for straining out whole hops prior to fermentation.   STRAINER $9.50 (D)

Grain Steeping Bag: HopTech's own extra large, fine mesh nylon grain steeping bag has plenty of space for the water to get at the grains for maximum extraction. Can also be used as a hop bag for whole hops during the boil. Reusable. GRNBAG $3.00 (E)

Plastic Brew Spoon: This is a really great brewing spoon. Made of high temperature plastic (rated to well over 300 degrees F) with a large spoon at one end and a small spoon at the other. 27" long overall, it works in the deepest brew kettles. Easy to clean and sanitize. SPNPL $5.00 (H)
